Maui is truly one of the best places to get married: it’s beautiful and romantic, the weather is nice year-round so you can even have a winter wedding wearing swimsuits, and it’s the perfect honeymoon destination as well. Your wedding guests will love even more for giving them an excuse to visit Maui and enjoy an awesome vacation with their loved ones.
A wedding in Hawaii requires a little more preparation because you might not see the venue or meet the caterer in person before your big day actually comes but it’s definitely worth it. We have a few tips for you how to make the most out of your wedding on Maui.
Plan early:
Once you’ve decided to get married on Maui, you’ll want to start thinking about the style of your wedding: casual or formal, indoor or outdoor, which part of the island you’d prefer and many more questions. I you have the answers, you’re ready to choose a Maui wedding venue.
If possible, get married where you are staying:
If you have a chance to choose a wedding venue with onsite accommodations, you might be able to reduce, sometimes even eliminate the venue fees. Plus, it’s much more comfortable that everybody is staying at the same location and nobody has to drive.
Find a local wedding band:
